- Merchant’s Customers – Individuals or entities that purchase goods or services from a Merchant and directly or indirectly use our Services to make payments.
- Referral Partners – Individuals, businesses, or entities that have a business relationship with POS+ to refer potential Merchants to us.
- Visitors – Individuals who voluntarily interact with POS+ but are not necessarily Merchants, Merchant’s Customers, or Referral Partners; for example, visitors to the POS+ website or job applicants responding to a posting.
We do not knowingly collect data from unauthorized users, including children under the age of sixteen (16). If you believe we have mistakenly collected data from someone ineligible to use our Services, please contact us. Unless legally required to retain it, we will remove the data in question.

If you are a Merchant, we will share your data with payment providers, reporting agencies, sponsoring banks, and other providers we contract with to provide our Services. This includes identity, credit, and financial information necessary to underwrite, open, and maintain your account.
For security reasons and to prevent misuse, POS+ will not export any payment data from its systems unless legally required.

How Do We Store Your Data?
We take reasonable steps to protect your data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized disclosure. These measures include hosting your data at facilities and cloud providers (some of which are third parties) that employ physical security access controls. We implement security controls to protect data, including the encryption of key payment data elements (such as payment account numbers or “PAN”). Additionally, we implement logical security controls to limit access to data to those entities who need it to perform their duties. We maintain compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard through an annual security assessment conducted by a licensed third-party Qualified Security Assessor. However, no data transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security, and therefore neither can we.
While we take reasonable steps to protect our systems and Services, you are responsible for keeping your account information and passwords private. If you interact with a public blog post, comment section, or forum regarding our Services, please note that your interactions may also be public.
How Long Do We Store Your Data?
We retain data for as long as we are providing Services to you.
We may retain data even after you close your account, or we cease providing Services to you, for as long as authorized under our agreements or reasonably necessary to:

If you are a Merchant’s Customer, we retain your data subject to the above and for as long as we are providing Services to your Merchant (this includes multiple different Merchants you may transact with across our platform).
It is our practice to establish retention periods for all data collected based on our business obligations and the criteria necessary to provide services. When the service is terminated, and the retention period expires, data is deleted.
Marketing, Interest-Based Advertising, and Analytics
We may send Merchants information about our products and services we think they might like, as well as those of our Referral Partners. If you have agreed to receive marketing solicitations and to share your data with our Referral Partners, you have the right to “opt-out” at any time.

We may use interest-based advertising providers, advertising networks, and exchanges to advertise our services to you. These advertising providers may allow us to target our ads based on demographics, interests, and context. We may use third-party service providers to compile analytics regarding our online Services.
